"In 1978 legendary fashion photographer Richard Avedon produced a series of prints for collectors from his iconic 1940's & 1950's Paris images that had changed fashion photography. He brought the models out of the studio placed the couture dresses in real life settings, bringing them to life.
The fine art prints were publicised with a special printed portfolio to send to collectors. This is one of those portfolios. In the 2017 biography of Avedon by his agent Norma Stevens, she talks about how they used it to launch his limited edition portfolio sale with great success.
This portfolio consists of 11 loose 10x8" pages, presented in the original branded card folder."
